Portrait Renamer - Unity

Some games allow users to import their own pictures for characters they encounter in games. The game identifies which picture matches best with that character using identifiers within the picture name.

One mega hassle that community members will find is that renaming every picture manually is literal torture, god forbid you commit a typo sin. For this reason I made this tool.

You may be wondering why, afterall the modding community already has these tools. And you're right, they have. But my question is why make a new tool for every new game?

The solution is my Portrait Renamer which allows users to import a profile that outlines what categories and options a user can select.

In short: One app, multiple uses.

Ideally the game maker would provide the profile text document alongside their game so users can simply download it and start making their portrait packs. But honestly, it doesn't really matter where the profile comes from.

In the downloads is a sample profile to show how you can set one up. It's very straight forward.
